What was your first impression of him / her ?

Well I didn't think much of him when I first met Chee Wee! I was working in AMMB Kota Kinabalu at that time, and Chee Wee at AMMB HQ. I came to KL to attend the dealers licensing course called PPKM. He was in the same batch but I didn't really remember him much. During those period I interned at the HQ dealing room. He appeared to me as someone reallyyyy quiet, very intelligent & somewhat arrogant.

Didn't think much of her at all. Just another girl in the class I guess. You know la, I so nerdly - must pass all papers with distinction - where got time for girl girl boy boy stuffs. She's always hanging out with MY colleagues, Jasmine and Adriana during class. Leaving me with only one other colleague to hang out with, Azmi. Oh yeah, she also seemed to hang out with Fred (not Flintstone) a lot too.
So in short, my first impression of her is she is always hanging out...while I am busy mugging my books :)

So when was that defining moment ?

It was more of a gradual process. I got to know Chee Wee better little by little. He came to KK to meet our customers and we kept in touch as friends after that. Nothing happened for many years until I came to KL to work in UOB. He asked me out and he was very clear and direct with his intentions from the beginning. After many dinners, movies, chats, I learnt to know him as a trustworthy, honest, humble & loving person. Chee Wee is really someone so much more than what you see. As I know him better, I discovered so much about him that is amazing. I bet nobody knows he has a black belt in Taekwondo! And there are many more qualities that he has as a person that I admire & respect about.
Well I'm thankful that Chee Wee made the "move" and that I didn't stop myself from knowing him better! Never looked back ever since!

Got to know her a bit more when I visited KK for a business trip. Thanks AmBank. You're the BEST and you paid for the trip! AmBank MAH.... *jingle* :P

Then we started emailing and chatting with each other occasionally. Casual only la here... fren-fren basis... Anyway, she was in KK, so I didn't think much about anything and treated her like a regular friend.

When she came to KL to work, I asked her out and one thing led to another, we ended up at Alexis for dinner one night and I asked her to be my gf and she said yes. Perhaps the DIAMOND PENDANT SEALED THE DEAL...

guys... a little secret....scroll down....(guys only can scroll down k)

it works...

DIAMOND WORKS :)

The proposal was so sweet! How did you feel about it?
I was speechless!!! It started off as a birthday surprise (which was not captured on video) so who would have guessed there's another surprise!?!
It was really sweet & bold of Chee Wee to do something that he usually wouldn't have done. Chee Wee is someone who shies away from attention or limelight. But I know he did it because he wanted it to be special & memorable. Thank you Darling!!! Although I wish I looked better that day and responded properly, there's nothing I can do to unwind my shy answer of "OK lor" to a delightful "Yes!"
I was so completely overwhelmed I didn't know what to do! But it was meaningful with friends around as well.

Err.. never thought much about it. Just do it. The planning process was mostly listening to the song over and over and over again so I can sing it well. Singing was a bit soft at first cos stress la... so many people watching (thanks, y'all for inviting yourselves... you know who you are...).

Special thanks also to many who helped plan it (again, you know who you are....the names are listed at the end of the video).

Glad it was impactful and memorable.
